Critter Chronicles: Peanut

peanut-hounds

This friendly, sweet girl was rescued from the Lorain County Dog Kennel.  Peanut has been sharing her foster home with other dogs and cats.  She has a bit of a hard time meeting a new dog but will be fine after a proper introduction and time spent together.  Peanut is friendly with all the people she meets, she would be fine with kids 8 and up and who are respectful of animals, she would enjoy running in the yard with kids.  She has mastered her housetraining skills and can now be left with the run of the house while you are gone, a big bonus.  Peanut gets to go for many car rides with her foster mom and is one excellent co-pilot in the car.  She is high energy so will definitely need a daily walk or someone who jogs, she will be your best running or walking partner.  We would prefer a home with a fenced in yard for our high spirited girl, she can run to her heart’s content.  We do allow trial periods for our dogs to insure a good fit for everyone.  Peanut will make someone an excellent best friend, could that be you?
