Judith M. Pritchett (nee Gall), 78, of Elyria and formerly of Amherst, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born February 16, 1936 in Lorain and resided in Amherst for 40 years. In 2002, she moved to Elyria.
Judith was employed as a Sales Associate for Kauffman Department Store at Midway Mall in Elyria with eight years of service, retiring in 2000. She was a member of St Jude Church in Elyria and formerly attended St. Joseph Church in Amherst. She spent her entire life as a caregiver for others and was devoted to caring for her home and family.
She is survived by her son, Jason R. Pritchett (wife, Nancy) of Elyria; three grandchildren, Lindsey Ickes (husband, Derrick), Aaron Kopchock and Zachary Pritchett; one great grandson, Trey Ickes; brothers, Mike Gall of Elyria, Lee Roy Gall (Adele) of Elyria, Alan Gall (Eddie Luz) of Bay Village and Larry Gall (Mary Lou) of Avon Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Pritchett in 2000; brother, Dale Gall; and her parents, Michael J. and Helen Gall (nee Fedor).
Prayer service will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 9:15 A.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude Church, 594 Poplar Street, Elyria at 10 A.M. Reverend Frank Kosem will serve as the Celebrant. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain. Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M., Monday, June 2, 2014.
