Irene “Page” Lough, 84, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain. Page was born June 15, 1930 in Hundred, West Virginia, to her loving parents, Isatus and Merle (nee: Ballard) Phillips.
She graduated from Hundred High School, Class of 1948. Page married Donald Lough on October 15, 1950 and they had three children together. She moved to Lorain in 1954 and she was a homemaker all of her life.
Page was a member of Cornerstone Methodist Church in Elyria and Ocklawaha Methodist Church in Florida. She enjoyed playing golf, reading and watching old movies.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Gibson and Jan (Ronnie) Cottrell; son, Jay Lough; grandchildren, Aaron, Julie, DJ, Nicole, Brittany, Christian and Adam; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years of marriage, Donald N. Lough; and parents, Isatus and Merle Phillips.
The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, (440) 244-1961, Friday, June 20, 2014 from 10 A.M. until time of funeral service at 12 Noon in the funeral home, Pastor Lisa Morrison, officiating. Burial services will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
