He attended the Clearview School system, and Keystone High School. Torrey was a member of Living Word Church of Lorain. He was formerly employed by Deluca’s Place In The Park and the Henry Walker Foundation in Lorain. He enjoyed basketball, running, music, clothes (fashion), family and friends.
Torrey will be sadly missed by his daughters, Ayana Hill, Emagzin Hill, and Jaidah Hill; and son, Torrey T. Hill, Jr., all of Lorain; mother, Sheila Hill-Baker, and stepfather David Baker of Lorain; sisters, Ramona Smith, Daphne (Lee) Thomas, and Jacque Hill; brothers, Roderick (Jessica) Hill, Raymond L Smith, Jr., Domonique Hill, and Eric Riser, Jr.; special friend, Demetia Brown; uncles, Charles (Lou Ella) Hill, Walter Hill, and Jerome Ellison; and special aunt, Alicia F. Hill; aunts, Carolyn Harris, and Bobbie (Eddie) Drake; many nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Torrey was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lewis Smith; and maternal and parental grandparents.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014, from 7 until 9 P.M., at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway in Lorain,(440) 244-1831. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 23, 2014, at 11 A.M., at Living Word Church, 658 E. Erie Ave., in Lorain, with Elder Ray H. Robinson, Jr., Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
