Timothy Wilson

Timothy Wilson

LORAIN – A 37-year-old Lorain man recently became the subject of an investigation after a teenager told police he sexually assaulted the teen two times over the course of seven years.

Timothy Wilson, 37, of the 800 block of West 14th Street in Lorain, was charged with gross sexual imposition at about 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police will not release the age or gender of the victim, but said that the teenager recently came forward to report two sexual assaults in seven years. Wilson first sexually assaulted the child in 2007 in South Lorain, according to police.

The victim did not report the initial abuse until seven years later after Wilson allegedly assaulted the teenage victim again this April.

According to police, the victim and Wilson knew each other but police would not release the nature of their relationship.

Wilson was brought to Lorain County Jail where he was being held without bond on Tuesday afternoon. His next court appearance is on Wednesday morning at Lorain Municipal Court.

Just another addition to his “criminal resume.”

Should have been put away a long time ago. A life-long criminal.

When will the public hold the judges who let these guys out responsible?

    • Arietta Sullivan

i’m with ya.it’s always been my saying overall with this subject.the judges are at fault for releasing them.i understand they can’t keep them all locked up for their life time so another alternative should be figured out. also, they need hard core counseling while sitting in prison instead of all the recreational activities they have privileged to do&offered by the state.

There you go again. Let’s not think, let’s jump to conclusions. Two times in seven years, Hey Gofingirl, where is the DNA evidence? How can you be so smug, to be so all knowing, outside of God almighty himself, who would know better than you? It’s a darn accusation, might as well be a conviction, for your reputation is already ruined. As the gofingirl says, no need for a trial, I know the answer. If only we could be all knowing like you!

Never said he was guilty of THIS crime.

But he is a life-long criminal….that is an irrefutable fact.

Should not even be on the streets, based on PAST criminal convictions.

He already ruined his own reputation, through his own behaviors, over his entire adult life.

I doubt this “accusation” will tarnish his reputation any further.

There doesn’t need to be DNA evidence for this type of crime. Look up the legal definition. People like to assume that a “sex crime” actually involves “sex”. It doesn’t. These accusations have to be taken seriously. Most people don’t go around making this stuff up. It’s far too overwhelming to deal with in so many ways.

I am sure that church in Westlake will also be calling this girl a liar too.

    • oldruss

As if adolescent girls never make false accusations. Think, Twana Brawley.

    • Bill Love

the difference is the girl in that case has been making a false allegations about other people that when investigated came out False

      • Bob

So that makes the Westlake girl a lair this time??

  • DonMega

He looks like he doesn’t have it all there.
