Police arrest fourth teen in arson case

AMHERST TWP. — A fourth teenager is in custody in connection with a fire that burned down a vacant house Monday at 9372 Fowl Road.

A 14-year-old boy was charged with arson and aggravated arson Wednesday. He is the fourth teenager to be charged. Three other boys — ages 13, 14 and 15 — were taken into custody Tuesday and charged with arson and aggravated arson.

According to Lorain County sheriff Detective Sgt. Randal Koubeck, the fire started about 5 p.m. and destroyed a 1990 Corvette and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. A neighbor saw four boys running near the scene around the time of the fire.

The Sheriff’s Office has ruled it arson.

All four boys were held at Lorain County Juvenile Detention Home on Thursday.

    Squealing like little pigs.

I wonder if they will still be friends after this incident and “ratting” each other out.
