Dale A. Grasse

OBIT FLAGGrasse_Dale & DebbieDale A. Grasse, 66, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Lorain, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014. Mr. Grasse was born in Lorain, March 18, 1948, the son of the late Robert William and Helen (nee Shullick) Grasse.

He was a graduate of Midview High School, Class of 1967. He served in the United States Marine Corp for seven years and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Dale worked at the Lorain Steel Plant for 35 years, as an electrician.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Debbie Grasse (nee Masterson); his twin sister, Gayle (Harold) Davis of Columbia Station; sister, Sandra (Lee) MacDonald of Port St. Lucie, Florida; brother, Robert Grasse of Salem, Virginia; sons, Charles W. (Mindy) Grasse I of Grafton, Bryan Grasse of Grafton; daughter, Victoria Grasse of Grafton; stepdaughter, Amy Anello of Cleveland; grandchildren, Ashleigh Hobbs and Charles William Grasse II of Grafton, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 8, 2014, from 6 P.M., until the Memorial Service at 7 P.M., in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

In lieu of flowers, Debbie has asked that all donations be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 2020 Eastwoodside Court, Gilbert AZ 85297, in memory of Dale A. Grasse.

    Dale was a great man. My father and him had been friends for as long as I can remember and I only have good memories of him smiling, laughing, and telling jokes. Rest in heaven Dale :) gone but never forgotten.
