Police Report: OSU football player Tracy Sprinkle arrested

LORAIN — Ohio State defensive lineman Tracy Sprinkle, an Elyria High graduate, was arrested and charged with rioting, failure to disperse, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after a bar brawl in Lorain early Saturday morning.

He was one of three people arrested, although the Lorain Police report details a chaotic scene involving several dozen people.

Read the report here:

It appears from the posted Police Reports that Identification of the perps was accomplished.

Why three(3) articles in two(2) days?

Civilized people don’t have bar brawls involving dozens of people, or have rumbles in their neighborhood where 30 or 40 people fight and kill one another.
Self respect and personal responsibility are what make people equal in a civilized society.

    • Chan

Not sure if you can call it a rumble when 30 people savagely beat one young man and then shoot him in the back as he is trying to flee.

      • SniperFire

As if the ‘young man’ wasn’t an uncivilized gangster himself. Unless you want us to believe thugs do a hit on innocents for no particular reason.

    • John Demirjian

What you have is another oxygen thief demanding his manhood.

  • golfingirl

these police report be full of lies the police is crooked and tracy do no wrong to no one

they put cocane in the back seat and say it wuz from tracey

he will be inocent when he get to court an u will not go to heaven because you judged if he were whitye u would say nothin

    may god bles ur soul

    go buckeyes

Translation……. He was set up because he is black. Here it comes.

I mean, you got to love when a black person refers to the police as the N-word., as in the police report. Had it been a white person using that term….look out! The word racist would be flying off the shelf.

I am off to find an urban slang edition of Rosetta Stone, so I can understand all the forthcoming comments.

    • KillaMilla

      Just ignorant!

      • golfingirl

Yes, their actions were very ignorant. Especially the part where they called the police officer the N-Word.

Glad we can agree on this one.

    • Nicole Hunter

love your reply,i am unfortunately a lorain HOME OWNER,married with no baby mama drama,i already stand alone, but i def. agree with prev.post:-) good to know not everyones thuggish

  • Chan

Not sure why the need for the the police report on here? Kind of makes me think the newspapter is bias and trying to sensationalize the story.

    • golfingirl

      A newspaper sensationalizing a story?

      Nope, never happened!

  • golfingirl

Sprinkle’s biggest obstacle is that OSU really does not need him on the field.

The defensive line includes four standout starters, all returning from last year.

If he was a starting QB, or a stud running back, his football fortunes may be brighter.

Being low on the depth chart, makes him expendable as a player and likely will not garner the support other players may otherwise receive.

Still hope he finishing college and has a successful life.

    • Chan

For once I agree with you.

      • golfingirl

        See…you are coming around….laughing.

At least when we disagree, it is done in a respectful manner.

        Have a nice evening.

he was just kicked off the team this afternoon

    • Sis Delish

Yep, the Felony Charges have resulted in the following action:

“Ohio State spokesman, Jerry Emig told reporters that a felony arrest is grounds for automatic university suspension while a misdemeanor charge is up to the discretion of the coach.”

  • Vincent Walter

Wow… Scholarship to OSU… and you toss it away over hometown grudges and rivalries. That is the bigger story….

  • golfingirl

Just gotta know when to walk away from trouble…….

Tough lesson learned, but hopefully he can have a life without football.

Kind of let a lot of people down…family, friends and young kids in the neighborhood who look up to him.

  • SniperFire

The C-T would rather do three stories on this thug instead of do one article on the illegal invasion Obama is perping on the border. Why is that?

  • golfingirl

    Most importantly:

Does this mean Monday’s Karaoke Night at the Grown and Sexy Lounge with DJ Weasel is cancelled?

    THUG LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!
