After graduation, she traveled to California…on a motorcycle…where she met Charles Trinemeyer, who was serving in the U.S. Marines Corps.
Charles William Trinemeyer was born July 17, 1922 in Albany, New York and passed away February 3, 2014 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
He graduated from Albany High School and went on to attend college before joining the U.S. Marines Corps. He served during WWII, Korea, Philippines and Vietnam. While in the Marines, he was on the National Rifle and Pistol team…gathering many awards for marksmanship. He traveled the world and United States (conceiving six children in five states). He also loved bowling, gardening, building doll houses and bird houses. He did wood carvings and oil paintings among other crafts.
Both Violet and Charles hand many common interests: arts and crafts, loved to travel, animals, gardening and helping family members.
They were the loving parents of Charles W. (deceased), Rise’ Davis, Dan, Eric and William and Melodie McCune; grandparents, great grandparents and great great grandparents of many.
