ELYRIA – A two-month investigation led to the arrest of two alleged drug dealers in Elyria on Tuesday morning.
Andrew Lallathin, 25, was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine, trafficking marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday at his business on the 400 block of Broad Street.
Chelbie Schropp, 19, was charged with trafficking and possession of cocaine, permitting drug abuse and possession of marijuana around the same time at the house she shares with Lallathin on the 200 block of Commodore Circle.
The arrests came after a two-month investigation by the Elyria Police Department into drug trafficking in Elyria. Police may be arresting other people in connection with the investigation.
During the arrest officers found 341 grams of cocaine and almost 870 grams of marijuana along with a rifle, a pistol, a handgun and $500 in cash.
Lallathin and Schropp were taken to Lorain County Jail where they were being held without bond on Wednesday.
