Robert H. Hall

OBIT FLAGHall_RobertRobert H. Hall, 88, formerly of Wellington, passed into his heavenly home on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Robert was born in Portsmouth April 6, 1926 to the late Elijah Hayden and Naomi Hall. He grew up along the Kentucky/Ohio border and lived in LaGrange and Wellington area for many years.

Robert served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Robert retired from Modern Tool & Die, Valley City, after many years of service in manufacturing.

He leaves his wife, Blanche, whom he married 68 years ago; sons, Jerry (Terry) Hall, Paul (Kay) Hall; and a daughter, Judy Hoover (husband Willie deceased); grandfather of Jerry Hall, Jr., Diana (Adam) Overton, Robert Hoover, Ron (Lynne) Hall and Sherry Hall-Reulbach (Michael); great-grandfather of Jered and Logan Overton and Kendra and Hayley Hall; brothers, William, Buel and George Hall; sister, Imogene Klingensmith

He was preceded in death by a brother, James and sister, Farrell Watkins.

Family will receive friends from 9 until 10 A.M., at the Pleasantview Old Regular Baptist Church, 3589 Beat Road, Litchfield, where services will be held at 10 A.M., with Pastor Larry Newsome officiating. Burial will be at Elmhurst Park Cemetery, Avon.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
