LORAIN — A city man accused of stabbing his cousin during a July 13 fight has been charged with felonious assault.

Devonte Pamplin, 18, was arrested Monday. He is accused of stabbing 20-year-old Jodeci Daniels during a fight in Pamplin’s home in the 1500 block of East 29th Street.

Daniels, whose aunt said he suffered a collapsed right lung and punctured liver, was released from MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland on Wednesday. The aunt said the fight was over marijuana Pamplin sold Daniels.

Pamplin was held at Lorain County Jail Monday night in lieu of a $25,000 bond. He is due in Lorain Municipal Court 9 a.m. Aug. 6.
