North Ridgeville woman killed in interstate crash

WESTLAKE – A North Ridgeville woman was killed in a fiery car crash on Interstate 90 last night.

Kelly Kramer, 25, was driving a 2012 Ford four-door on Interstate 90 near Columbia Road at about 11:44 p.m. Sunday when she drove off the eastbound side of the road. The vehicle went into a ditch and caught fire, according to Westlake Police Capt. Guy Turner.

Kramer was pronounced dead at the scene, Turner said.

Interstate 90 eastbound at Crocker Road was closed from midnight until 5:20 a.m.

Westlake and Bay Village fire departments, the Westlake Service Department, and North Olmsted, Rocky River, Avon and Westlake police, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Kramer’s body was turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
