Ronald K. Churby, 59, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014, at his home, following a long illness. He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and was a resident of North Ridgeville since 1976.
Mr. Churby worked as the service manager for Nick Abraham Dealership and then went on to be an automotive claims estimator for State Farm Insurance. He enjoyed playing golf and one his most memorable moments was when he shot a hole-in-one at Pine Brook Golf Club. He was a skilled craftsman and mechanic. He took pride in designing and carrying out all of his projects. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.
Survivors include his wife, Roxanne (nee Deeter); daughters, Rockell (Luis) Churby Llanos of Cleveland, Rosanne Churby of North Olmsted; grandchildren, Mateo and Isadora Llanos Churby; mother, Sylvia Churby of Brook Park; sister, Lana (Ron) Hahn of Naperville, Illinois; brother, Randy (Connie) Churby of California; two nieces and two nephews; mother-in-law, Mildred Tiano of Brookpark.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Churby. Friends may call Thursday, August 7, 2014, from 5 until 8 P.M. and Friday August 8, from 6 until 8 P.M., at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 9, at 12 Noon, in the funeral home. Burial immediately following in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
