Elyria man accused of beating pregnant girlfriend

ELYRIA — An Elyria man is accused of beating his eight-months-pregnant girlfriend in her home in the 300 block of Fourth Street about 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Bianca Foy said she argued with the expectant father, Isaias Sanchez, about text messages on his phone, police Officer Paul Lesner wrote in his report. Foy, who police said had red marks on her arms and face and an injured right forearm, said Sanchez shoved her into a couch, a door and walls when she attempted to leave.

Foy said Sanchez also grabbed her by the arms and bit her on the right forearm. Foy said she called police when Sanchez left. Foy, 21, said she was experiencing stomach pain and planned to be examined at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.

Sanchez, of the 200 block of Bath Street, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. The 19-year-old’s criminal record includes a conviction for persistent disorderly conduct.

Sanchez was held without bond at the Lorain County Jail Tuesday night. He is due in Elyria Municipal Court today.

How can he be charged with domestic violence when they have different addresses as stated in the article? Wouldn’t it be an assault or mutual combatants. Looks like his neck is scratched up so they both were probably into it.

The sad part of it all that this is just news and the news will put out there anything but the true facts/story. Nowhere in this article does it say she had pulled a knife on him and the knife was later found in the dumpster by the police he was arrested only after he left the premises and almost being stabbed. This was also found in the police report. I am not for abuse on a man or a women but sometimes the man is the victim. That’s why I do not believe everything the news puts out there as they omit a lot of information and only want to portray the male as an abuser. But in reality only 90% of men will not report being abused as the cops no matter what will end up arresting the male as there job is to deescalate the situation and by this they hardly ever arrest a female. She has also ruined the life of many others claiming she is a victim and when you have 5 assault and batteries when a few of them are alleged men; yes i said men cause he is not the first one where she alleges the beating is on her and a few where she was charged for assault. Who is the victim in reality? I think she abuses the system and that is where it affects many other females who are truly victims. Police reports are made public and that is how I am aware of this and study law. Chronicle needs to put the true facts up and not just make the person being arrested the suspect follow the facts. ty

This was her last case that made news including in the school as he was a high school boy. She is 21 years old and a mom why is she going after young males? Furthermore notice how she calls the cops after the males leave the premises. It reminds me of the movie a thin line between love an hate where the female beats herself then calls the police and says martin Lawrence beat her (in the movie). http://chronicle.northcoastnow.com/2013/10/23/elyria-lorain-blotter-man-who-allegedly-caught-girlfriend-cheating-denies-assault/
