AVON — A two-vehicle crash took place at 9:01 p.m. Friday on Interstate 90 east of Nagel Road, resulting in a juvenile driver facing charges.

According to Avon police Sgt. George Ruple, a 2012 Ford Escape was traveling eastbound when the driver, who was a juvenile, attempted to make an improper lane change. The vehicle struck a 2010 Kia Forte driven by an adult, causing it to spin out of control, hitting the guardrail and road signs before coming to a stop in the grassy median.

There were two occupants in each vehicle, but identifications were not given. None of the occupants was injured in the crash.

The juvenile driving the Ford Escape will face charges pending the completion of the incident, Ruple said.
