Critter Chronicles: Bernadette

Bernadette came to the rescue in May very pregnant and very skinny. She has since had four beautiful babies who have found their forever homes. Bernadette is gaining back her weight.  She loves to cuddle and take naps on the couch. Bernadette comes when called consistently and is easily corrected if she is doing something you don’t want to her to do. She sits on command and is crate trained. It appears to us that Bernadette was not well cared for prior to coming to the rescue. For that reason she is still nervous when meeting new people. Her only real vice is that she is still young so she chews on things she isn’t supposed to. If she is caught with something she isn’t supposed to have she immediately drops it if told to do so.
