Two men with connections to Lorain County have been added to the U.S. marshal’s list of Northern Ohio’s most wanted fugitives.
Dana Woods, 47, and William Waters, 38, were added to the “Agonizing 8,” a list compiled by the U.S. Marshal’s Office of the most wanted sex offenders in Northeast Ohio.
Woods is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender in Lorain County after he was convicted of gross sexual imposition in 2006 for sexually assaulting a child younger than 12, according to a news release. He was last known to be living in the 100 block of Steelton Street in Elyria and is black, 5 feet 7 inches and about 195 pounds.
Waters is wanted for more recent crimes. The Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force believes Waters sexually assaulted two children who were younger than 16 over the course of several years. Waters, a 5-feet-7-inch white man about 165 pounds, has ties to Avon and Westlake, according to the news release.
The “Agonizing 8” is part of a larger list of wanted fugitives around Northeast Ohio that includes other Lorain County connections such as Arzell Nash, who is suspected of shooting two men outside of a Lorain bar in November, and Dreshawn Pinkney, 21. Pinkney is suspected of raping a young girl in a closet.
