Brent L. Titus, 32, of Elyria, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Ames Hospice in Westlake, after a lengthy illness. He was born October 3, 1981 in Elyria and was a lifelong resident.
Brent was a Quality Manager with SK Finishing of Lorain. He was a graduate of Elyria High School, class of 2000. He was a member of Elyria Four Square Church and served as a sound technician. Brent enjoyed watching his sons play, being a Dad and spending time with his family at home and watching the Cleveland Browns play.
He is survived by his father, Dave Titus of Rocky River; mother, Patti Poporad (Ron) of Elyria; loving wife of 11 years, Leah A. (nee Elkins); daddy of Jacob Louis, Ian James, Daniel Aaron and Samuel David; twin brothers, Ben (Rainy) and Chris Titus; uncle of Stevie, Abbe and Bella; and maternal grandmother, Peggy Young (Bob) of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Thrasher; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Barbara Titus.
Funeral Service will be held at the Elyria Community Church of the Nazarene, 1107 Clemons Avenue, Elyria, Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 11 A.M. Reverend Jim Deulley, Pastor of Elyria Foursquare Church, will officiate. The burial will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Friends may call at the Elyria Community Church of the Nazarene from Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M.
