Man charged after fight in police station

LORAIN — A fight in the police station led to a man’s arrest Friday night.

Officers heard metallic banging noises in the police station lobby. When they checked it out, police observed two males fighting.

The Lorain County Pill Drop Box was torn off the wall, and a row of metal benches normally against the wall had been pushed away from it, according to a police report.

Police observed Lorain resident Brian Pluck, 44, holding Antwan Wright, 36, in a headlock as Wright swung his fists at Pluck. When police ordered Wright to stop swinging, and he did not listen, they deployed a Taser to the center of his back.

Pluck told officers he was in the lobby to file a complaint against his landlord when Wright, who he does not know, stood in front of him, clenched his fists and came after him. Wright was charged with assault.
