Four arrested in Avon break-ins

AVON — Four men were arrested after they were accused of vandalizing property and burglarizing garages in housing developments.

Police arrested Nicholas Price, 19, of 38707 Berkshire Ave., Connor Fritsch, 18, of 31730 Schwartz Road, Shawn Dziurzynski, 18, of 36620 Bordeaux, and Benjamin Gibson, 19, of 37846 Lorie Blvd., on felony charges of burglary, and misdemeanor charges of criminal damaging, theft and criminal mischief.

According to a statement issued by the Avon Police Department, residents of the Stonebridge and Highland Park subdivisions recently woke up to find their garages had been burglarized and that they had been the victims of other property crimes.

City property also was damaged after the men allegedly stole or damaged several street signs. After a recent incident in which two neighborhoods were targeted, police officers were able to identify the suspects.

Some of the property owners had video surveillance equipment, which helped identify the suspects, Avon police Capt. Larry Fischbach said.

“We were able to get still shots and start asking around,” Fischbach said. “Unfortunately for them, enough people knew who they were and pointed them out to us.”

All four of the men were booked into the Avon City Jail.

Wow where is the gang? Seems like those young men have to much time on their hands……but I doubt very seriously if they get any jail time….probably some restitution and community service.
