Phillip T. Stoker, 40, of Grafton passed away Monday, September 1, 2014, at St. John Medical Center in Westlake after suffering a apparent heart attack. He was born July 23, 1974 in Berea and was a Grafton resident for most of his life.
Phil served as a police officer for the Village of Grafton for 18 years. He was a 1992 Midview High School graduate and member of both the Ohio Police Benevolent Association and the Fraternal Order of Police and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his daughter, Marissa; sons, Cody and Nolan, all of Lorain; mother, Nora “Dottie” Everett of Grafton; sisters, Tabitha Aliff of Sheffield Village and Samantha Rowe of Grafton; four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Carisle; stepfather, Butch Stoker; grandmother, Dorothy Combs and grandfather, Rufus Lindsey.
The family will receive friends 1 until 4 P.M., Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services and Burial will be private.
