Do you or someone you care for need prescription medications, but find it difficult to pay for them? The Lorain County Prescription Assistance program can help! This program is available to Lorain County residents and may provide medications at low or no cost to those in financial need, who have no or limited medication insurance coverage.
The Lorain County Drug Repository is a a cooperative effort between Buderer Fisher Drug Company, Community Foundation of Lorain County, Lorain County General Health District, Nord Family Foundation, and the Uninsured Coalition of Lorain County.
“This program wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration of our partnering agencies,” says Lorain County General Health District Health Commissioner, David Covell, R.S. MPH. “The goal of the program is to use donated prescription drugs to benefit those who are in need,” adds Covell.
