Did you know that you can actually walk your way to better health? Getting in shape or staying fit doesn’t have to be complicated and you definitely don’t need a gym membership to do it. Walking is a great form of exercise that can help control your weight, reduce disease risk, and improve your mental health. You don’t have to do it alone either!
If you’re in need of a little motivation, join us every Monday in September at 5:30 p.m. at the Lorain County Metro Parks Splash Zone for the Fitness Walks, a free weekly walking group. No membership is required and all ages are invited to join. Each walker receives a bottle of water and a chance to win prizes for participating. Walk with WOBL/WDLW on-air personalities and get to know fellow walkers. You are welcome to join a walk whenever you have time in your schedule; a weekly commitment is not necessary.
