Anyone can catch the flu. It’s never known when people will begin to get sick and how long the illness will last. To protect both you and your loved ones this flu season, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a flu vaccine as the first and best way to protect yourself from flu viruses every year. According to the CDC, all people 6 months of age and older should receive a flu vaccine. Prevent the spread of disease and defend your health by getting a flu shot.
Health Commissioner, David Covell, RS MPH, reminds residents to get their flu shots. Please see the flyer below for clinics and resources for more information.
