Friday, Aug. 31
9 a.m. – 100 block Bethesda Circle, garage vandalized.
9:05 a.m. – 2200 block West River Road, woman’s 1994 Honda Civic stolen.
12:06 p.m. – 100 block Brace Ave., car’s tires vandalized.
1:45 p.m. – East River Street and Broad Street, Matt Stinson, 18, of Vermilion, warrant arrest.
4:30 p.m. – 100 block Pinewood Drive, scooter stolen from garage.
6 p.m. – North Abbe Road and Antioch Drive, Carlita Bright, 25, of North Ridgeville, warrant arrest.
7:01 p.m. – 500 block Georgetown Ave., Amanda Buckland, 20, of Elyria, warrant arrest.
9:55 p.m. – 400 block East Ave., Sunoco, Antawan Chaney, 24, of Elyria, charged with theft.
11:30 p.m. – 800 block Rosewood Drive, Veronica Swift, 28, of Elyria, charged with disorderly conduct persisting.

Lorain police

Friday, Aug. 24
10:30 a.m. – 2200 block Elyria Ave., officers fired two gunshots at charging pit bull, but animal ran off and escaped. It was unknown if it was hit by a bullet.

Thursday, Aug. 30
2:40 a.m. – 1100 block W. 14th St., officers gained entry to building where they thought juvenile female was being held against her will; girl and her mother said she was there on her own volition.
5:49 p.m. – 3500 block Omaha Ave., man said he was assaulted.
7:22 p.m. – 3300 block Oakdale Ave., woman suspected her sister-in-law was stealing mail.
8:30 p.m. – 300 block W. 34th St., man found a 13-inch television in his yard.
9:10 p.m. – 800 block Lexington Ave., two juvenile females, menacing.
9:25 p.m. – 800 block N. Central Drive, woman said she heard someone try to break into her home.
10:22 p.m. – 1700 block E. 29th St., man threatening another man.

Friday, Aug. 31 
9:18 a.m. – 2000 block Henderson Drive, rock fell from truck and cracked passing vehicle’s windshield.
10 a.m. – 1000 block W. Sixth St., woman being harassed by man.
10:28 p.m. – 4700 block Charleston Ave., 15-year-old male overdosed on cough medication.
10:53 p.m. – 1200 block W. 22nd St., paintball shot at house.
11:30 p.m. – 4700 block Meadow Lane, Javier Young-Marrero, 18, of Lorain, charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
