Thursday, July 21

1:36 p.m. —1100 block Garden St., front windshield reported smashed.

3:18 p.m. — Midway Mall, GPS unit, valued at $150 and iPod, valued at $100, reported stolen from a vehicle parked near the food court. The passenger-side window was smashed.

4:33 p.m. — 200 block Columbus St., woman told police she found a burnt crack pipe, pink iPod and phone charger inside her vehicle that was recovered in Berea after being stolen.

5:15 p.m. — 1300 block East Ave., man charged, but not arrested, for domestic violence for allegedly choking a woman with a bedsheet and damaging her car.

5:35 p.m. — Midway Mall, 17-year-old boy, 600 block Weller Road, Elyria, cited for criminal trespassing for refusing to leave the mall after being told to do so by an officer, for not wearing a shirt and looking for a fight.

6:37 p.m. — 100 block Windbrook Court, golf clubs and bag, valued at $2,000, three headphones, valued at $100 each, and one pair of sunglasses, valued at $200, reported stolen from a vehicle.

7:10 p.m. — 200 block Erie St., 16-year-old boy, same address, faces a charge for domestic violence for allegedly throwing an unopened can of pop that hit his sister in the face.

7:52 p.m. — 500 block Broad St., Craftsman tool set, valued at $100, and box of tools, $30 value, reported stolen from a vehicle parked behind Wigland.

8:06 p.m. — 300 block 11th St., bottle thrown at rear window of vehicle, shattering it.

9:45 p.m. — Midway Mall, GPS unit reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the western lot of Macy’s. The front driver’s side window was broken.

Thursday, July 21

8:40 p.m. — 200 block Jefferson St., Scott Heisler, 24, 600 block W. 14th St., charged with domestic violence.

10:42 p.m. —1800 block E. 37th St., woman saw two teenage males peel off one of her vehicle’s tires from the rim.

Friday, July 22

1:39 a.m. — 1000 block W. Ninth St., James Mowery, 40, 1500 block Cedar St., charged with domestic violence.
