Age: That I will not tell — I’m looking for the youth serum — the fountain of youth.
What do you do?
I love Halloween, it’s the best time of the year. Halloween is my favorite time of the year. I work at the Party Place near Midway Mall.
What’s your favorite Halloween character?
I love Zombies and a lot of people love Zombies. A little girl just got her Alice in Wonderland costume, but she’s going to be a dead Alice in Wonderland.
Is that a theme for this year?
Yes, I think so. “The Walking Dead” brought everything to the surface.
Do you watch that show every week? Do you have a favorite character?
Oh, it starts the 14th, October 14th Sunday evening — and everybody knows to leave me alone because I love “The Walking Dead.” I love the Zombies, of course, but they’re the evil ones, but not by choice. I love the sheriff and his wife.
We have a whole Zombie section which is fantastic. And of course “Walking Dead” characters, and we have all the makeup, but you can use it for anything. We also have the Avengers characters, Thor, the Hulk.
Do you work full time?
No, part time.
Is it seasonal?
No, I started 6 months ago.
What kind of holidays do you cater to?
Graduations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, weddings, birthdays, it seems that people used to send flowers, but now they seem to buy balloons and send a balloon bouquet. Memorial day — I think people are excited then about the warm weather; Labor Day not so much; Halloween seems to be a national holiday; Thanksgiving — we’ll probably be getting more in after Halloween; Christmas, New Year’s eve and day — shot glasses for jello shots, Valentine’s Day …
How did you get your name, Dreama?
My parents. My mother had a dream and a nun told her to name her daughter Dreama. I was born in St. Joseph’s hospital.
Who’s in your family?
I’m a very proud parent. Jessica is 30, Vanessa is 24, and Vincenzo is 22. And I have 4 grandchildren.
Do you have any hobbies?
Well, I love horror films. Not since I was a child do they make them good. As I said, I like “The Walking Dead.” I used to get scared, but now it’s very hard to scare me. The original “Friday the 13th,” Freddy Krueger, “Halloween” — the original — those were excellent. But the one I will not watch is “The Exorcist” because that dabbles in the real stuff.
