LORAIN — A Vermilion man was stabbed in Lorain, but police were unable to determine what happened, according to Lorain police Lt. Roger Watkins.
Watkins said Lorain police officers met with the victim, 21-year-old Vincent Wells, but he was uncooperative and intoxicated.
According to a Vermilion police report, Vermilion police were sent to a home on Nicholson Road at 5:36 a.m. Sunday. Wells told police he was in Lorain when he was stabbed, and he drove back to his home in Vermilion with friends.
Wells was later taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center, where Lorain police met with him. Charges were not filed, said Watkins, because officers couldn’t obtain any useful information.
