GRAFTON TWP – Two suspects in an armed robbery at an Internet café are still at large.
The robbery happened at 11:50 p.m. at the Treasure Island Internet Café when witnesses told police that two men entered the business in jeans and dark sweatshirts and one was carrying a handgun.
The men stole $1,500 from the register and more than a hundred dollars from one of the two customers in the café at the time, witnesses told police.
The men then forced the two customers into the bathroom and closed the door, said Lorain County Sherriff’s Lt. Donald Barker, adding that he did not think the men locked the door behind the customers.
The two men left shortly after the incident though police don’t know if they left on foot or in a car.
Witnesses said the men were both black, between 5-feet-10-inches and 6-feet tall and looked to be around the ages of 25 to 30.
