A flatbed semi-truck carrying rolls of steel flipped on the Ohio Turnpike (I-80) eastbound entrance from Route 57 recently.
There was one victim -- the driver of the semi -- who was transported to the hospital because of back injuries, according to authorities. No other cars were involved.
An Ohio State trooper on scene said the driver said the load shifted which caused the truck to turn upside down. The cab of the truck was turned on its side.
The Route 57 entrance ramp to the turnpike will remain closed for awhile as officials clean up and investigate, officials said.
Traffic is slow in the eastbound lane of the turnpike. The southbound lanes of Route 57 are backed up as vehicles approach the closed ramp.
