Delivering to Lorain County 7 days a week

Power still out for some in Lorain County

Electrical restoration efforts continue after Wednesday’s thunderstorm.

At 5 p.m. Thursday, 1,383 Ohio Edison customers remained without electricity, according to Joe Faga, a company spokesman.

About 800 of the outages were in Lorain, 400 in Elyria and 100 in Sheffield Township.

At the height of the storm, about 13,900 lost electricity. Electricity is expected to be fully restored by midnight, Faga said.
