H. Louise Van Arsdale (nee Keyse), 90, of Elyria, formerly of Columbia Station, died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at The Wesleyan Village in Elyria. Mrs. Van Arsdale was born July 13, 1916, in Brooklyn Heights and has been a resident of Wesleyan Village for the past eight years.
Mrs. Van Arsdale was a graduate of Columbia High School, attended Baldwin Wallace College and was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church. She was a loving homemaker and also enjoyed traveling, dancing, and socializing with family and friends.
Mrs. Van Arsdale is survived by her husband of 69 years, Richard; son, James (Carol) of Huron; daughter, Helen Fisher Forbes (Fred) of Lansdale, PA; grandchildren, Brad Van Arsdale (Corinna), Amy Bergstresser (nee Van Arsdale) (Arthur), Jill Cockerell (nee Van Arsdale) (Scott), Nathan Fisher (Shelley), Rick Terry (Cheryl) and Lisa Cromwell (nee Terry) (Blake); and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, Willard L. and Helen L. Keyse; sisters, Willette Keyse, Elizabeth Johnston and Anna May Petch; daughter, Susan M. Terry; and granddaughter, Leah Wickersham (nee Fisher).
A memorial service will be at Columbia United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in Columbia Township Cemetery.
