Lonnie "Bud" Brooks, 20, of Uniontown, PA, formerly of Lorain, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 26, 2007, living in Uniontown for the last 3 years, coming from Akron.
Mr. Brooks was born in Lorain on November 12, 1986, and attended Garfield High School in Akron. He enjoyed cooking and was an avid sports fan. He was also musically inclined and known as an aspiring rapper.
He is survived by his son, Da'monte Brooks of Uniontown, PA; fiance, Michelle Farrell of Uniontown, PA; parents, Tony and Teresa (nee Brooks) Fields of Akron; father, Lonnie Lovett of Lorain; sisters, Shatonia Fields, Antoinette Fields, Sylvia Fields, Niya Fields and Juanita Lovett, all of Akron; brother, Marcus of Atlanta, GA; paternal grandmother, Patsy Lovett of El Dorado, AR; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Fern Brooks; maternal grandfather, Richard Jones; paternal grandfather, Irvine Lovett; step-grandmother, Ruth Jackson; and maternal great- grandmother, Anna Brooks.
Friends may call Thursday, from 11 A.M. until time of Service at Noon in the Greater Victory Christian Ministries Church, 559 Reid Avenue, Lorain. Elder Clarence Jackson, Pastor of Greater Holy Trinity Church Of God In Christ, of Akron will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
