Mildred Bors (nee Paulovich), 90, of Lorain, passed away Monday morning, November 12, 2007 at Community Health Partners in Lorain following a brief illness. She was born October 19, 1917 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and moved to Lorain in the early 1940`s.
Mildred was employed in food service with the U.S. Steel Company in Lorain with 20 years of service. She was a member of St Marks American Serbian Orthodox Church in Sheffield Lake. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, music, dancing and dining out.
She is survived by her two daughters, Violet Thompson of Lorain and MaryAnn (husband, Carl) Walski of Huron; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Katherine Simerick of Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bors; a great-grandson, Scott Walski; two sisters, Della Krotoski and Ann Ellis; three brothers, Nicholas, Mitch, and Dewey Paulovich; and parents, Lazar and Milica Paulovich (nee Blitva).
Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria from 5 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, November 14, 2007.
Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Lorain. Memorials may be forwarded to a charity of choice. www.buschfuneral.com.
