Glendon R. Hawley, 49, of Grafton died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at his home, following a long illness. He was born April 23, 1958 in Cleveland and was a resident of Grafton for most of his life.
Mr. Hawley was a machine operator for Zaytran in Elyria. He retired in February 2007. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Vickie, (nee-Hardman); his daughters, Teresa Catanese of North Ridgeville, and Tracy Sellers of Grafton; his grandchildren, Davin, Logan, and Haley; his mother, Clementna, (nee Gilmer) of Grafton; sisters, Natha Sieler of Grafton, Clara Mandell of LaGrange, Gail LeMar and Glenette Huffman, both of Elyria; brothers, Gerald Hawley of Elyria, and John Hawley of New York.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glendon E. Hawley.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home, Chestnut Ridge Rd. at State Route 57, Elyria.
Services will be Friday at 11 A.M. in the funeral home. Rev. Mike Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
