Brian J. Vura, 29 years of age, and a resident of Columbus, passed away suddenly Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Brian was born July 7, 1983 in Lorain, where he was raised. Brian graduated from Admiral King High School in 2001, then attended Ohio State University. Columbus has been his home for the past 10 years.
Brian managed the Hang Over Easy Diner on the campus of Ohio State Campus for the last five years. He was an avid sports fan, loyal to the Cleveland Indians, Browns, Cavs and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Brian enjoyed playing baseball, softball and golfing. He was an excellent cook. Brian was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was a great person who enjoyed life to its fullest.
Survivors include his parents, Samuel and Kristen Aguayo, (nee Vura) of Mandeville, Louisiana; sister, Amber Aguayo of Lorain; grandparents, Charles and Lynda Wearsch of Amherst; three nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins; and his fiancee, Shannon Napier of Columbus.
Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David Vura and Laura Hreha.
Friends may call Saturday, July 13, 2013, from 2 P.M., until the time of service at 6 P.M., at Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst.
