Pamela Kay Medina (nee Dye), 57, of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain. She was born in Cleveland on December 11, 1955 and had lived in Elyria for 30 years.
Pamela married Alcides Medina on September 2, 1972. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and loved collecting pig memorabilia. Pamela took great joy in being a caretaker to many children.
Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, Alicedes, daughters; Julia Ortiz and Kitty Medina; sons, Tony (Nina) Medina, Jesse (Audra) Medina, Frank (Vicki) Medina; sisters, Jo-Ann Bolling and Ione Boggs; brothers, Edward C. (Freda) Dye, Jr. and Philip (Virginia) Dye; also 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward C. Dye, Sr. and Louise K. Dye (nee Young).
Friends may call from 5 P.M. until time of the Memorial Service at 7 P.M., Friday, October 11, 2013 at Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road, Sheffield Township. Deacon Tony DeGracia of Sacred Heart Chapel, will officiate.
