Renada Irene Edwards, 70, of Oberlin, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at New Life Hospice Center in Lorain, surrounded by her family. She was born July 2, 1943 in Sandusky.
She was a graduate of Western Reserve High in 1962. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Oberlin and she worked as a seamstress at Cedar Point making reversible outfits for the dancers. Renada enjoyed shopping, playing cards, reading, travel and spending time with family & friends.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Lee Edwards of Oberlin; son, Mark (Carrie) McJunkins of Spencer; step daughters, Tammie Wyman of Raleigh, North Carolina and Debera (Rodney) Strong of Tiro, Ohio; step sons, Rick (Michelle) Edwards and Michael (Missy) Edwards, both of Norwalk; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sisters, Ada Kastur of Freemont, Ohio and Charlene Robinson of Clyde, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father, August Chill; mother, Viola Chill; daughter, Sonia Lynn; sisters, Mary Chill, Clara Murray, Norene Hall; and brothers, Allen, August G., Carlton Chill.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Cowling Funeral Home of Oberlin. Mass will be Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oberlin. Father Robert J. Cole will officiate. Interment will be in New Russia Twp. Cemetery.
