Charles graduated from the Ohio School of Culinary Arts Class of 1988. He enjoyed decorating for parties and cooking for family and friends. Charles was very outgoing and had a down to earth personality and made friends everywhere he went.
Charles previously lived in Texas, New York and Georgia before finally make his home in Las Vegas.
He leaves to mourn his death his parents, Martin and Myra Alston; sisters, Clemetine Alston of York, Alabama, Bonnie Alston of Akron, Shirley Keith, Juanita Alston, Matilda (Charles) Inman of Elyria, Cynthia Thorpe of Lorain, Barbara Alston of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; brother, Frederick (Brandi) Alston of Elyria and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael in 1991; maternal and paternal grandparents.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Faith Ministries Christian Center 1306 Euclid Ave, Lorain, 11 A.M. Pastors Alvin and Diana Lindsey will give words of comfort.
