James served in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1964 and worked as a Mill Wright at CEI, until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of the Destroyer Sailors Veteran Association, VFW Post #9871 and the Grim Reapers Motorcycle Club. James was a heart transplant survivor of 22 years.
He enjoyed his family, listening to music, old movies and riding his Harley Davidson.
Survivors include his sons, Anthony (Tracy) Orseno of North Ridgeville and Christopher (Barb) Orseno of Charlotte, North Carolina; daughter, Samantha Lindner of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Andrew, Chad, Allyson, Troy, Garrett, Zachary, Payton and Christina; great- granddaughter, Alana; brother, Richard (Janet) Orseno of Amherst; mother-in-law, Gwen Taylor of North Ridgeville; brother-in-law, Dave (Carol) Taylor of Virginia.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Ann Orseno in 2010; parents, Nicholas J. and Kathleen L. Orseno; father-in-law, Ron Taylor in 2009.
Friends may call Saturday, July 19, 2014, from 10 A.M., until time of service at 1 P.M., in Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where the Reverend Bill Shomo will officiate. Military honors will be performed by the North Ridgeville VFW Post #9871, immediately following the service.
