Arlou Minney (nee Moss), 77, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Keystone Pointe, following a brief illness. Arlou was born May 8, 1937 in Normantown, West Virginia, to Clarence and Laura.
She was a graduate of Normantown High School. Arlou married Edward Minney on December 19, 1955. Her interests were crocheting and sewing and she loved to spend time talking with family and friends. She enjoyed listening to gospel/bluegrass music and reading the Bible. Arlou was also a NASCAR fan and Cleveland Indians Fan and enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Edward; daughters, Cindy (William) Wasil and Lois Webber, both of LaGrange; son, Edward W. (Denise) of Columbia Station; sisters, Carol (Steve) Sprouse and Barbara (Bill) Jones, both of Normantown, West Virginia; brothers, Paul (Bobbi) of Tanner, West Virginia and Donnie (Emiline) of Parkersburg, West Virginia; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Laura (nee Marks); sister, June Smith; brothers, Kenny and Wayne; and granddaughter, Molly Webber.
She loved well and she was well loved. She will be greatly missed on this side of Heaven.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 P.M., Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria, (440) 322-4626 and also 10 to 11 A.M., Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 39888 Parsons Road, Grafton, where services will be held at 11 A.M. Pastor Bob Wickens of the Church of the Open Door, will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Grafton.
