NFL cut day was a good day for one area player and a bad day for another.
Elyria High’s Danny Noble made the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster as a tight end. The 6-foot-5,
248-pound University of Toledo grad did not get drafted but was signed as a free agent.
North Ridgeville’s Jordan White, however, was one of the final cuts by the New York Jets. The 6-0, 210-pound wide receiver was the 244th pick in the draft, going 37th in the seventh round.
White, a Western Michigan grad who led the nation with 140 catches and 1,911 receiving yards in 2011, broke a bone in his left foot during minicamp, but made it back in time for camp.
