College softball: Cleveland State’s Cynthia Woodard, an Elyria High grad, named Horizon League Player of the Year

For the second time in four years, a former Elyria High softball star has been named the Division I Horizon League’s Player of the Year. Cleveland State shortstop Cynthia Woodard received the honor Tuesday.
