Rebuilding of First Evangelical Lutheran to become documentary

LORAIN — Native-resident-turned-Hollywood-film-director John Baumgartner plans to film a documentary on the rebuilding process of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. The historic 90-year-old church was destroyed by an arsonist in August 2014, and since that time its congregants have gathered elsewhere to worship.
