Wood from old barns gets second life

28jan16 bishop--- Steven Lambert works a section of barn siding loose from one of his recycling projects on Albrecht Road. The barn has extensive rotting in the support beams and the roof so it had to come down.

As the wind whipped through the partially deconstructed 150-year-old barn on Albrecht Road in New Russia Township, a whistling sound rose from the sandstone base to the airy rafters.
